Obama: It gets better

In a video posted to the White House's You Tube channel late on Thursday, Oct. 21, President Obama speaks out against anti-LGBT bullying.

Sex columnist Dan Savage launched the "It Gets Better" project a month ago as a way to raise awareness of anti-LGBT bullying and homophobia.

Rutgers University student Tyler Clementi's suicides and the deaths of other LGBT students have underscored the problem. And Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, talk show host Ellen DeGeneres and Chris Colfer of "Glee" are among those who have recorded videos for the project.
