Connecticut's True Colors, an organization exclusively serving LGBT youth, has announced the formation of their new brand and redesigned Web site, www.ourtruecolors.org Dec. 8.

"This marks a new era for True Colors," founder and executive director Robin McHaelen said. "Our growth since 1987 has been incredible to witness. Our new brand, Web site, and office are all a reflection of our increased outreach and the ever-growing need and demand of our services."

The announcement follows True Colors' move from Manchester to the Hartford offices recently vacated by Connecticut's Love Makes a Family, an organization which closed their doors earlier this year after completing their goal of bringing marriage equality to Connecticut.

"Our users range from a high school principal to a [Department of Children and Families] social worker to a mother whose child just revealed he is gay," president of the Board of Directors Cheryl Parks said.

"True Colors has been there for our youth and families during a different time when there were very few LGBT resources out there. Over the years we've broken through doors and continued to elevate our programs and services. So, these new changes are not just exciting, but in a way symbolic of furthering the consistent evolution of our organization."
