Sponsors Pull Ads From Duggar Spin-Off Show

READ TIME: 1 MIN.

The new Duggar program "Jill and Jessa Counting On" shouldn't be counting on advertising dollars to keep the show on the air. According to In Touch, national brands are pulling their TV spots from the show quicker than Josh can click on an Ashley Madison profile.

"It was not our intention to advertise on the program. This specific program is [now] on our list of exclusions as well as any other potential Duggar programming," says a rep from the UPS store.

"We are not a sponsor or an advertiser on any TV shows or specials about the Duggars," read a statement from Choice Hotels. "If any ads run, it is an error of the network as our advertising agency has directed them to remove our advertising from the show." Choice Hotels had previously been an advertiser for "19 Kids and Counting."

"We have decided to no longer advertise during this show moving forward," said Whitewave Foods, who pulled their ads for Silk Milk from the show. "We are always listening to our consumers, whether it be to continuously enhance our products or carefully choose where to advertise."

Also jumping ship are Verizon Wireless, Michigan's state tourism board Pure Michigan, Cici's Pizza and Mattress Firm.
