The Big Bang Theory - The Complete Ninth Season

Season Nine marks the 200th episode of "The Big Bang Theory," and proves that one of the most reliably funny shows on television is still going strong.

Now that Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) have eloped, they face the challenges of staying married. This proves to be difficult when Leonard admits to an indiscretion from the past, but the bigger post-nuptial challenge is, as it has always been, Sheldon (Jim Parsons).

For a man who idealizes the emotionlessness of "Star Trek"'s Mr. Spock, Sheldon is pretty needy. And he's made his lack of feelings clear: His best friend may be a married man, but Leonard sure isn't allowed to move in with his new wife.

Maybe it would be different if Sheldon's plan to propose to Amy (Mayim Bialik) worked out. Instead, she chose to "see other people." Although a small bevy of guys come a right-swiping on Amy's app, the best one can't get past the fact she used to kiss the famous theoretical physicist Dr. Sheldon Cooper and, it turns out, neither can she.

So after five years, big changes are in store for Sheldon and Amy. Even if the question doesn't get popped, something will.

Howard (Simon Helberg) and Raj (Kunal Nayyar) decide to fulfill their dream of forming a boy band whose debut and farewell performance happens in the comic book store. Producing music may not be in the cards for this team, but Raj turns out to be a bit of a player, and Howard still feels the need to create. So he decides, How about a baby?

Bernadette's (Melissa Rauch) wanted some changes around the house but a baby isn't what she had in mind. She was thinking about redecorating and getting rid of some of the useless crap that Howard's mother left behind, like Stewart (Kevin Sussman).

The special features give us a nice look behind the scenes and keep us anxious for next season. Watch as "The Big Bang Theory" provides scholarships to some worthy STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) students.
