Watch: Ryan Gosling's Partner Eva Mendes Reveals a Sexy Souvenir – His 'Ken' Underwear

Eva Mendes, partner of "Barbie" star Ryan Gosling, revealed in an interview with "The Talk" that she had scored a sexy souvenir from his work on the film: The "Ken" underwear his character sports.

Mendes said she just had to have the undergarment after seeing a photo of Gosling wearing it in character for the Greta Gerwig-helmed film, currently in production, in which Gosling plays the all-American male counterpart to Margot Robbie's Barbie, People Magazine reported.

The pic shows Gosling with bleach-blond hair, washboard abs, a denim vest, and personalized underwear peeking from beneath his low-slung blue jeans.

Saying that it's "a funny photo and he's trying to be funny," Mendes revealed her response to catching a glimpse of Gosling in his Ken costume: "When I saw it, when he sent it to me from work, I was like, 'Can I please have that underwear? Please, I never ask for anything.'"

She asked this time, and she received.

"So, anyway, I do have it," Mendes confirmed, adding: "I'm wearing it right now!"

News of the casting choice prompted debate online, which Mendes addressed by noting that the film, though based on an American icon, is not a biopic.

"People do know he's not playing a real person, right?" UK newspaper The Independent quoted her as saying.

When host Jerry O'Connell appeared in clothing similar to Gosling's "Barbie" costuming, Mendes seized on that as affirmation that Gosling was the right pick for the role, E! News reported.

"I feel like my man has started a real renaissance – like a Ken-aissance," she exclaimed.

"Barbie" is due in theaters next summer.
