CRI Boston, the organization’s primary site, was established in 1990 and remains a leading-edge HIV/AIDS research facility offering clinical trials, treatment education, and financial assistance for approved drug treatments and health insurance coverage.
Led by world-renowned Research Director, Dr. Calvin Cohen, CRI’s research team has successfully enrolled and managed over 2,000 diverse participants in more than 150 clinical trials contributing to the FDA approval of nearly all of the medications currently available to people living with HIV/AIDS. Our Boston research team also includes Dr. Harry Schrager and Dr. Hannah Olivet.
CRI Boston serves the broad range of clients through referrals from primary care physicians, local college and university health offices, community health centers and academic settings. Staff at CRI Boston also manage the state’s HDAP (HIV Drug Assistance Program) providing more than 4,000 Massachusetts residents with HIV/AIDS treatments and health insurance coverage.
